Dr.  Steven J. Karp is an nationally-respected eating disorder and addiction specialist, becoming one of the pre-eminent experts while Chief Medical Officer at the Rosewood Center and staff psychiatrist at the Meadows, two top-tier behavioral healthcare providers in Wickenburg, Arizona.

Dr. Karp is triple Board certified in addiction, adult and geriatric psychiatry and brings over thirty years experience treating addiction and eating disorders.

Dr. Karp was Medical Director for the Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He completed residency at Norristown State Hospital, Norristown, Pennsylvania.  He also served as an associate clinical professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the Penn State School of Medicine.

Dr Karp combines psychiatric training, empathic listening and motivational interviewing to support people towards lasting change.
